Time Range Picker

Use the shared time range picker to set relative or absolute time windows across Logs, Traces, Metrics, Dashboards, and more.

The time range picker is available in the top-right corner of every page in Last9 — Logs, Traces, Metrics, Dashboards, Services, and more. It controls the time window for all data displayed on the current page.

Each option shows a duration badge so you can quickly gauge the time span.

Custom Time Range

For precise control, select Select from calendar… at the bottom of the dropdown. This opens the calendar view where you pick exact From and To timestamps.

Custom date range with From and To pickers and Apply Range button

  1. Click Select from calendar… in the dropdown
  2. Set the From date and time
  3. Set the To date and time
  4. Click Apply Range

To go back to presets, click Back to presets… at the top of the calendar view.

Timezone

The timezone selector is at the bottom of the dropdown. By default it uses your browser’s local timezone. Click it to switch between your local timezone and UTC.

The trigger bar also displays the current timezone offset (e.g., UTC+05:30) for quick reference.

Live Mode

Toggle Live mode using the play/pause button on the right side of the time picker. When enabled, the picker shows a Live badge on the left, the page auto-refreshes, and streams new data as it arrives. The selected relative time range continues to slide forward.
